Welcome to Bath Skyline Races!
We are looking forward to seeing you over the weekend for the Skyline races!
From 18:00 on Saturday 16th Nov
From 10:00 for Canicross 5km & 10km Sunday 17th Nov
From 11:00 for 5km and 10km trail races on Sunday 17th Nov

The weather conditions are looking quite changeable, with a possibility of catching some rain on Saturday and on Sunday. Whilst the ground is pretty dry at the moment, bringing some grippy shoes would be our recommendation

Here are some important reminders for race day
1) Bibs - All race numbers are collected on race day. You will collect your race number from your Event Wave desk (not race wave) - see the schedule.
2) Start lists - These are now published on our website. Please check your wave numbers and remember you collect your bibs by Event Wave not race wave. Note sometimes colours may be used twice. Look up your race number to save time on the day.

Make sure you look up your Event Wave ahead of time to save confusion!
3) Parking - Free car parking so long as you park in our event car park, it is a Permit Only Car Park, but we have hired it for the event so you do not a permit or to pay. Follow the white and Red Relish Running signs to the event car park, do not enter the University through the main entrance. More details on the Race Day page.
4) Race start - Please read the schedule to see what time your race starts. There are a number of waves for each event. Make sure you note your Event Wave as this is how runners will be called to the start. Note sometimes different Event Waves have the same colour numbers, but different number ranges. Any wave jumpers will be disqualified.
5) Waves - You cannot change race waves. All race waves are now fixed and you cannot change on the day. You can change event distance by reporting to Event Info to fill out a form to get a new race number.

6) On the days? Can people still register on the day - Yes!
We have reached capacity in terms of pre registered runners, all the on the day medals are spoken for, we will however place an order for additional medals for on the day sign ups which we will post out to on the day sign ups ~3 weeks after the race.
Runners can also swap distances going up or down a distance by reporting to Event Information on the day. We are not able to make any more changes at this time.

7) Night Race - No head or chest torch = no race for the night run. Pack it in your bag now and maybe put in some new batteries if it has been a while since you changed them....!
8) Bag drop - We have a bag drop at registration.
9) Toilets - We have portaloos in the race car park. We recommend you come to the race changed and ready to race. A change of clothes and shoes for the drive home might be a good idea as the course is pretty muddy in places.

10) Results - We aim to post Provisional Results by 10pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday. At the finish line there will be a huge buffet of tasty treats at the finish line and on the on course feed stations for the longer races, including GF and vegan snacks.

11) Headphones - Only bone conducting headphones are permitted
12) Photos - Our photographers will be adding the race photos as quickly as they can following the event, with photos coming online Sunday evening. You can register your interest now via this link above and you will be notified when the photos go live. There is an automatic 10% saving on photos ordered by midnight Tuesday!
You can search by Bib or by Selfie to find all your photos and they are available to purchase at very good rates.

13) T-Shirts - We have our Relish t-shirts featuring Sham Castle which both the night and day races run past. The t-shirts are made from recycled plastic bottles available to buy on the day; light weight and breathable, in male and female cuts, red and black colours. T-shirts are £30 (male and female specific styles) and racer back vests (female only) are £25.

14) Shared Path - Please follow the basics that we are all accustom to; respect everyone's personal space, take advantage of the additional hygiene measures...and most importantly, remember to smile and enjoy your day! Please remember that we have no priority on the path and runners need to share the path and give way to other users, thank you
Covid / Injury / Illness
If you can not attend due to injury, illness or a positive covid test you can complete your race as a virtual, on any course and at a time of your choosing within 4 weeks of the race and we will post out your medal and goodies. Just reply to this email with your evidence when you have completed your run.
Unfortunately we are now too close to the event to make any substitutions as the booking platform is closed and we have a very busy few days ahead out of the office preparing for the race. The final date for making a change to a booking is 14 days out from an event.
