Welcome to the Chepstow Steeplechase 2024!
We're so excited that you're going to be joining us at Steeplechase on Sunday!
Conditions for the day are a changing day by day, at present it looks like we will catch a dry day and we will get to see the benefits of all the recent rain out on the course 😅
Here are some important reminders for race day
1) Bibs - All race numbers are collected on race day in our event village. Race numbers will be collected by EVENT WAVE, which is the order your individual race wave starts on the day. Please see the Schedule on the Event Info page here to find your Event Wave.
2) Start lists - These are now published on our website. Please make a note of your number now to speed through number collection.
3) Parking - Parking is at Chepstow Racecourse. The exact location is shown by the What3Words address /// rails.canines.merely The car park is £2 per car (cash only please), we would be grateful if you could have this money ready at the gate. Be careful when crossing the road and keep an eye on your little people. Thank you.
4) Race start - Please read the schedule to see what time your race starts. There are a number of waves for each distance. Make sure you note your Event Wave as this is how runners will be called to the start. Any wave jumpers will be disqualified.
5) Waves - You cannot change race waves within your distance. All race waves are now fixed and you cannot change on the day. You can change event distance, eg 5km to 10km, by visiting to Event Info to fill out a form to get a new race number.
6) Accompanying Runners - If you are an adult accompany a younger runner on a free of charge basis (3km or 5km racers) then you will not appear on the start lists nor will you collect a race number. Please do not collect a medal after the event, unless you have paid for your place.
